Gates of Hell - Columbus, OH
The Gates of Hell is a graffiti covered culvert under N. High St. in Columbus. It is decently long and changes shape and direction about half way through. It can be found on many UE sites and is also a popular place for skateboarders and BMXers. The story behind the name is that a skater or biker smashed his head into the steel cage that is around the inlet of the tunnel, and died. Not sure if the story is true or not but it is certainly possible. The steel structure is massive, giving the entrance an intimidating look.
