Buffalo Central Terminal - Buffalo, NY

What can we say about this place? It is by far one of the most well known buildings in the Urban Exploration community. Huge, massive building. One of the largest train terminals in the country. This building sat neglected for years. The previous owners tore the place apart and sold the fixtures piece by piece. It was left wide open and frequented by vandals who painted graffiti all over the inside of the building and smashed windows.

Today the building is slowly being restored. The main building is alarmed but many other parts of the building are just as abandoned as ever. They now offer tours of the building on weekends throughout the summer but they only allow you to see a small portion of the building. The TAPS team from Sci-Fi Channel's Ghost Hunters even did an investigation here in the summer of 2008.

The building is one that we highly recommend checking out.
