The American Hotel - Detroit, MI

What can we say about The American Hotel that you probably don't already know? This location is one of Detroit's many hot spots. It's old, historic, and beautiful. This was our first stop on an all day Detroit exploration adventure. After spending the night in Boblo Island we got up early and headed here. Many of the rooms have furniture left in them, and some have homeless people in them. It's a great place, I hope that someday a visionary with deep pockets is able to restore it to it's past glory.
