The American Bridge Building - Ambridge, PA

The American Bridge Company was such a significant company that the city of Ambridge is actually named for it. The building is in the shape of a large 'H', and has a beautiful staircase in the center of it. It housed offices and drafting rooms for the engineers and architects who designed many of Pittsburgh's bridges and other large structures.

We had a great time exploring this building, but we decided to cut it short after becoming aware of the fact that we were far from the only people in there.
